Moldex Filters & Cartridges for 7000 & 9000 Series Masks

Moldex EasyLock replacement gas, particulate and combined filters for Series 7000 half masks and Series 9000 full-face masks, subject to the combination restrictions below. These filters do not fit Series 8000 masks.

Every option is supplied as one pair containing two filters. Choose the required model and classification from the options.

Gas and vapour filters

9100 — A1
9200 — A2
9300 — A1B1E1
9400 — A1B1E1K1
9500 — A2B2E1
9600 — AX
9800 — A2B2E2K2

A filters are for organic gases and vapours with boiling points above 65°C. B filters are for inorganic gases and vapours; E filters are for acid gases; K filters are for ammonia. Filter selection must take account of the substance, concentration and applicable exposure limits.

9600 AX filters are single-use and intended for certain organic vapours with boiling points at or below 65°C. They are not suitable for every low-boiling substance. Follow the AX information supplied with the filters and applicable limits on concentration and use time.

Particulate filters

9010 — P1 R
9020 — P2 R
9030 — P3 R
9032 — P3 R with additional ozone protection

The activated carbon layer in 9032 provides additional ozone protection up to 1,000 ppb for a maximum of 8 hours. This does not make it a general-purpose gas filter.

Combined filter

9730 — A1B1E1K1HgP3 R, combining gas, vapour and particulate filtration. Maximum use time against mercury is 50 hours, subject to Moldex’s instructions and any earlier replacement requirement.

Fitting and combination restrictions

EasyLock gas and particulate filters connect without additional adapters or filter holders. Particulate filters can fit directly to the mask or connect to the front of an EasyLock gas filter.

Important: 9800 A2B2E2K2 combined with any particulate filter is approved for use with Series 9000 full-face masks only. Do not use that combination on a Series 7000 half mask.

Use the filter instructions together with the instructions for the selected mask. Select the mask and filter combination according to the workplace risk assessment, pollutant concentration and applicable exposure limits. These filters do not supply oxygen and must not be used in oxygen-deficient atmospheres, unventilated containers or confined spaces.

Replace filters in pairs and observe the expiry date and model-specific service-life limits.

Supplied: one pair of the selected filter option, containing two filters. Mask sold separately.
