The Jefferson Industrial 40mm Magnetic Drill is engineered for precision hole-cutting in steel fabrication work. Equally at home on building sites or in the workshop, it can drill in horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions — all from a portable, magnetically secured platform with an incredible 14,000N of adhesion force.

Unlike conventional drills, this machine uses an annular hole cutter (slugger bit) to cut clean, accurate holes without pre-drilling or step drilling. After cutting through the steel, the cutter produces a “slug” — a cylindrical lump of steel that falls cleanly from the centre of the cut.
